All services offered by Vancouver Island Community Connections Inc. are available on a fee for service basis – ask us about our reasonable agency rate and the ways in which we can help to meet your needs.

Vancouver Island Community Connections Inc. is also a contracted service provider for Community Living British Columbia – eligible individuals are invited to contact us regarding our services and how to access them.

Individualized Support Services – the name says it all; supports to meet specific individual needs. We can work with you to develop a plan and assist you with meeting the goals you’ve set once you have approved funding.

Residential Support Service – Full residential supports available from semi-independent supports to 24 hour staffed residential for individuals.  Relocation service available.

Senior’s Lifestyle Services – NEW to Vancouver Island Community Connections Inc. in 2007. In response to repeated inquiries this service provides an opportunity for senior’s to maintain an active lifestyle with support provided on an ‘as needed’ basis. The Seniors’ Lifestyle Service aims to promote a safe, comfortable, active and independent lifestyle for seniors living in the Comox Valley.

The Senior's program consists of a number of services: care management; outreach, including resource and referral; telephone contact and support; home and lifestyle; assist with activities of daily living; and family aide. The program’s Coordinator also welcomes inquiries from families regarding concerns associated with aging and care giving.

Supported Work Service – With the current labour shortage the Supported Work Service makes great sense to both Comox Valley Employers and individuals with disabilities seeking employment. Benefits for Comox Valley employers hiring through the Supported Work Service include:

• less time spent and money saved on advertising/interviewing for vacant positions
• access to pre-screened applicants that are eager, flexible and ready to work
• job coaches that assist with training at no cost to the employer
• diversified workplace

As an employed person or a person seeking employment, we provide a variety of services such as planning, training, coaching, and transitional support whether learning new skills or taking on a new work commitment.
